The priority has been set on all the strings so that newer blog posts are shown first. Before, the oldest posts were shown to translators first. Hopefully this makes it much easier to translate blog posts.

Quests previously hidden can now be made visible again from settings, all "other answer..." options leading to another dialog now have their text ending in "...", wording in maxspeed quest was clarified, the choices in the crops quest are now now sorted with new UN FAO data, the tactile paving bus stop quest is now shown for ways as well, and when showing a quest for an element (e.g. a shop) that is not at street level, show additionally on which floor it is located.
**[StreetComplete](https://f-droid.org/packages/de.westnordost.streetcomplete/)** wurde von 9.0 auf 10.0 [aktualisiert](https://github.com/westnordost/StreetComplete/releases). Highlights are the new Material design, a chunked upload depending on connection (wifi 10mb, mobile 1mb). One can now directly upload a captured image in any folder. Also the existing Document Provider integration got extended to be fully working, so e.g. creating & saving a text from editor is directly working without starting the Nextcloud app. Last but not least all downloaded files will be updated in a background job every 15 min when on Wifi, to ensure that you have always the latest copy. This deprecates the old “keep in sync” setting.

Höhepunkte sind das neue Material Design, das verbindungsabhängige, blockweise Hochladen (WLAN 10 MB, mobil 1 MB). Man kann nun ein aufgenommenes Bild in jeden Ordner hochladen. Außerdem wurde die bestehende Document Provider Integration auf den vollen Funktionsumfang ausgeweitet, so funktioniert z.  B. die Erstellung & das Speichern eines Textes aus dem Editor direkt, ohne Start der Nextcloud-App. Schließlich werden alle heruntergeladenen Dateien im Hintergrund, bei einer WLAN-Verbindung alle 15 Minuten, aktualisiert, um sicherzustellen, dass ihr immer die neueste Kopie habt. Dies schafft die alte Einstellung “keep in sync” ab.

As already hinted at above, [Izzy](https://forum.f-droid.org/u/izzy) continued updating app descriptions this week. About every 5th app will have a more detailed description soon. Sometimes the links have been updated as well, e.g. as their source code or website has moved. The work is 80% completed, and more than 50% is already merged.
Wie bereits weiter oben erwähnt, setzte [Izzy](https://forum.f-droid.org/u/izzy) diese Woche die Aktualisierung der App-Beschreibungen fort. Ungefähr jede fünfte App wird bald eine ausführlichere Beschreibung erhalten. Gelegentlich wurden auch die Links aktualisiert, z.  B. wenn ihr Quellcode oder ihre Webseite verschoben wurde. Die Arbeiten sind zu 80% abgeschlossen und mehr als 50% sind bereits zusammengeführt.

This allows all aspects of the website to work with or without Javascript to support as wide a range of devices and browsers as possible, including Tor Browser and browsers on cheap mobile devices. This new search service also includes a much more complete index, so it is now possible to search based on all of the metadata, for example by license:

The second full security audit of F-Droid is complete. We are satisfied with the results, which confirmed again that the core security model and standard operations are solid. The audit pointed out issues in the core build process where we currently rely on manual review by trusted contributors to protect us. This audit also did show that we still have work to do to achieve our goal of keeping the Android client secure even when connected to a malicious server, for example, if an untrusted repository is manually added that was created by its operator to exploit. After a few month hiatus, our staging setup for the complete buildserver is again running, thanks to the [Reproducible Builds](https://reproducible-builds.org/) team who host that infrastructure. These Continuous Integration (CI) jobs create a [complete buildserver](https://jenkins.debian.net/job/reproducible_setup_fdroid_build_environment/) from scratch once a week based on the current source code (e.g. _master_). This buildserver instance is then used to [build all apps](https://jenkins.debian.net/job/reproducible_fdroid_build_apps/) that have not yet been built on this machine. Getting these CI jobs running again pointed us to a [key issue](https://jenkins.debian.net/job/reproducible_fdroid_test/259/console) that was blocking the publishing of updates for over a week.
Nach einigen Monaten Pause läuft unser Staging-Setup für den kompletten Buildserver wieder, dank dem [Reproducible Builds](https://reproducible-builds.org/)-Team, das diese Einrichtung hostet.
