FYI we are almost done with an overall that makes the Android client and the website prefer app entries that are localized. For example, this overview page and the sidebar: https://f-droid.org/zh_Hans/packages/ To make more apps show up localized on those kinds of screens, the "summary" needs to be translated. F-Droid manages translating those summaries for apps that do not do it themselves. This is the place to translate those: https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/f-droid/fdroiddata/
When apps that manage their own translations, we link to their service on the app page, for example: https://f-droid.org/packages/com.nextcloud.client/

apps for Android. The F-Droid client app makes it
easy to browse, install, and keep track of updates on your device.
It connects to any F-Droid compatible repositories. The default repo
is hosted at f-droid.org, which contains only bona fide libre software.
Android itself is open in the sense that you are free to install APKs
from anywhere you wish, but there are many good reasons for using
F-Droid as your libre software app manager:
* Get notified when updates are available
* Optionally download and install updates automatically
* Keep track of older and beta versions
* Filter out apps incompatible with the device
* Find apps via categories and searchable descriptions
* Access associated URLs for donations, source code etc.
* Stay safe by checking repo index signatures and APK hashes
A aplicación cliente de F-Droid facilita a navegación, a instalación
e eo seguemento das actualizacións no teu dispositivo.
Conéctase a calquera repositorio compatible con F-Droid. O repositorio predeterminado
* Manter a seguridade comprobando as firmas do índice do repo e as funcións «hash» APKs
