The Android apps maintained by the developer known by the handle "Catfriend1" have been discontinued in a slighty surprising an chaotic fashion. Therefore, the corresponding translation components are now read-only, to avoid putting in wasted work. Presumably, a handover to another developer has taken place. But the new roles are not quite clear and as of now, a continued translation effort within this Weblate project has not been requested or discussed. We will not be starting such an effort without explicit request from the app maintainers. 03/02/2026 |

The Android app for Syncthing is discontinued. The last release on GitHub and F-Droid will happen with the December 2024 Syncthing version. Therefore, interaction with the translations are limited now, to avoid translators putting in work which will not be used. But all contributions are preserved for any future (re)use. The Fork by Catfriend1 is still maintained however, and does still accept translations here on Weblate. 10/20/2024 |
