Welcome to the translation Weblate for the free and open-source app Learn GDScript from Zero.

You can use Weblate to translate the application and its content. We keep translations in a dedicated repository on GitHub: https://github.com/GDQuest/learn-gdscript-translations/

You can find the application's source code with published translation in the following repository: https://github.com/GDQuest/learn-gdscript/

The app is available on itch.io to download and try on your desktop: https://gdquest.itch.io/learn-godot-gdscript

Finally, you can use the bleeding edge version of the app right in your browser at the following address: https://gdquest.github.io/learn-gdscript/staging/

When we publish translations

We publish the translations in a given language when at least 50% of the app's content is translated and peer-reviewed.

Because this app is a course to learn to code, it is not enough to just translate the interface for people to use it in their native language: without the lessons' translations, they can't use the app.

All translations, as well as the application's source code, are MIT licensed.

Write out calls to the functions [code]move_forward()[/code] and [code]turn_right()[/code] to draw a rectangle with a width of 220 pixels, and a height of 260 pixels.

We wrote the first two lines for you.

Be sure to write each instruction on a separate line.

Every line should start with one [code]Tab[/code] character so the computer understands it's part of the [code]draw_rectangle()[/code] function.

In this practice, we'll tell the turtle to draw a corner.

The corner is made up of two lines that are [code]200[/code] pixels long. The lines are connected at each end by [code]90[/code] degrees, or right-angle.

The [code]move_forward()[/code] and [code]turn_right()[/code] functions to the right draw a corner, but they're missing some arguments.

Add the missing arguments so the turtle moves forward [code]200[/code] pixels, turns right [code]90[/code] degrees, then moves forward again [code]200[/code] pixels.

We added the first argument for you so the turtle moves forward [code]200[/code] pixels.

In the following practices, we'll draw multiple corners to create rectangles.

In dieser Übung werden wir der Schildkröte sagen, dass siebeibringen, eine Ecke zu zeichnen soll.

Die Ecke besteht aus zwei ZeilLinien, die [code]200[/code] Pixel lang sind. Die Linien sind an jedem Ende durchum [code]90°[/code] oder rechtwinklig verbundenGrad verbunden, also ein rechter Winkel.

In den folgendnächsten Übungen zeichnwerden wir mehrere Ecken zeichnen, um Rechtecke zu erstellen.

The turtle is a little learning tool custom-made for this course, based on a proven code learning methodology. It's designed to teach you how to use and create functions.

So please don't be surprised if writing code like [code]turn_left()[/code] inside of the Godot editor doesn't work! And don't worry, once you've learned the foundations, you'll see they make it faster and easier to learn Godot functions.
