• <b>Active:</b> If enabled, the rule is applied and matching items are excluded.
• <b>Pattern:</b> The text matched against each item, interpreted according to the Type.
• <b>Type:</b> How the pattern is interpreted — <i>Literal</i> (exact text), <i>Wildcard</i> (using * and ?) or <i>Regex</i> (a regular expression).
• <b>Match:</b> Whether the pattern is matched against the item's <i>Full Path</i> or only its <i>Basename</i> (the name without the path).
