In the application, we don’t see the text “Search”, but rather the icon of a magnifying glass. Therefore, I think it would be best to write something like “Tap the magnifying glass to get started”.

The tabs in NewPipe's main view can be changed. So you do not need to have the "trendings" tab, but can also have an "empty tab" which displays no streams, but just a small hint to use the search. I added a screenshot
