Quais são as instruções que descrevem a linha ser o nome duma imagem? Em vez disso esta linha é o atributo alt do tag HTML img ("The required alt attribute specifies an alternate text for an image, if the image cannot be displayed." https://www.w3schools.com/TAGS/att_img_alt.asp) e como é uma descrição deve ser traduzido.

Não sei se as interpretei bem, as instruções a que me referi mas são estas. Não percebo das especificidades técnicas dos documentos, mas não encontrei nada que me parecesse indicar que a linha em questão é uma "tag". O que vi foi a localização da foto e o texto associado, quando fiz clique esquerdo sobre ela no manual. E como a linha de texto original (esta onde estamos a comentar) não aparece no manual, não percebo porque deverá ser traduzida. Quando houver fotos do processo de instalação (que aparecem mais abaixo) dum sistema localizado em pt, imagino que o texto associado à foto (e, portanto, esta linha onde estamos a comentar) venha a ser algo como "Debian Edu Installer Logo (pt)". Ou então será, aí sim, este texto traduzido. Mas estou a deduzir, pelo que posso estar enganado, naturalmente.

It's like @ ssantos pointed out. Please also note the 'type' information: showing up as comment to the English string (it's a textobject phrase).

@schweer-guest Thank you for jumping in and reinforcing the clarification. And for the link. The comments to the English string do not stand out, so I missed the comment. I'm not sure I would have understood it, anyway. Not fully acquainted with this kind of info/terminology. Just learned a bit more :) However, from the up-to-date Translation notes: "To "translate" images, add them to the VCS into the images/$CC/ directory, where $CC is your language. They will be picked up automatically." What I take from this is that images should only be "translated" if a new "translated" version is added to the VCS.

@ zeh00 Yes. While the Portuguese translation has recently been added to the VCS, a new debian-edu-doc-pt-pt package has to wait until Debian Bullseye has been released. So there's plenty of time to produce the images if you intend to do so.
