I'm developer of the K-9 Mail and we had some issues yesterday pulling translations. Android Lint complains about the plural form for "one (0,1)": It needs to include the decimal placeholder %d. I just applied the Java format as first reaction, but we then decided to disable this Android Lint check instead and revert the changes. Especially as the same issues also surfaced with other languages. And sorry, I usually won't interfere with translations. In this case I also checked if there is a missmatch between the Weblate checks and Android Lint, to verify if we need to file a bug with weblate. Android and Weblate follow the CLDR project to derive their plural rules from version 38.1. Newer versions might change the rules, but are not supported yet. If I compare "Toutes les minutes" vs "Toutes les %d minutes" for "one (0,1)", the first one seems to be the right choice. It matches "Every minute" better. What do you think? 3 months ago |

Hi @wmontwe Why did you modify this French translation twice? Are you a native French speaker? AO French language coordinator | Localization Lab 3 months ago |

If the first one is the desired version, I'll disable the checks for all languages that use one (0,1) for plural forms.
