Welcome to the translation Weblate for the free and open-source app Learn GDScript from Zero.

You can use Weblate to translate the application and its content. We keep translations in a dedicated repository on GitHub: https://github.com/GDQuest/learn-gdscript-translations/

You can find the application's source code with published translation in the following repository: https://github.com/GDQuest/learn-gdscript/

The app is available on itch.io to download and try on your desktop: https://gdquest.itch.io/learn-godot-gdscript

When we publish translations

We publish the translations in a given language when at least 50% of the app's content is translated and peer-reviewed.

Because this app is a course to learn to code, it is not enough to just translate the interface for people to use it in their native language: without the lessons' translations, they can't use the app.

All translations, as well as the application's source code, are MIT licensed.

In the above example, for each item in the list [code][0, 1, 2][/code], Godot sets [code]number[/code] to the item, then executes the code in the [code]for[/code] loop.

We'll explain arrays more throughly in the next lesson, but notice that [code]number[/code] is just a temporary variable. You create it when defining the loop, and the loop takes care of changing its value. Also, you can name this variable anything you want.

This code behaves the same as the previous example:
In het bovenstaande voorbeeld stelt Godot voor elk itemelement in de lijst [code][0, 1, 2][/code] de variabele [code]nummer[/code] in op dat itemelement en voert vervolgens de code uit in de [code]for[/code]-lus.

We zullen arrays uitgebreider uitleggen in de volgende les, maar merk op dat [code]number[/code] slechts een tijdelijke variabele is. Je maakt hem aan wanneer je de lus definieert en de lus zorgt ervoor dat de waarde verandert. Je kunt de variabelennaam noemen zoals jij wilt.

Once again, the robot has decided to stand at the top of the board.

This time, use a [code]for[/code] loop in the [code]move_to_bottom()[/code] function to have it move to the bottom of the board.

The board size is determined by the [code]Vector2[/code] variable [code]board_size[/code].

The robot's starting cell is [code]Vector2(2, 0)[/code].
Wederom heeft de robot besloten om bovenaan het bord te gaan staan.
