In HTML/CSS based documents like EPUBs, books can specify to use fonts by family instead of a specific font name. These families can be <b>Serif, Sans-Serif, Monospace, Cursive, Fantasy, Emoji, Fang Song and Math</b>. For example in a book, normal text can be shown in <b>Sans-serif</b> while dialogues are shown in <b>Serif</b> font. KOReader normally uses your default font for all these families except <b>Monospace</b> and <b>Math</b> (which is determined by the style of the text nodes, for example <b>'font-family: serif'</b>). If you want these families to look distinct, you can assign specific fonts for them here:
