It was a project of <a href="https://dataskydd.net/">Dataskydd.net</a> (2015-2024), a Swedish non-governmental organization that worked on making data protection easy in law and in practice.
Webbkoll wird von <a href="https://anders.unix.se/">Anders Jensen-Urstad</a> (Programmierung, Design) und <a href="https://twitter.com/teirdes">Amelia Andersdotter</a> (FAQ, Gesetzesinformationen) entwickelt. Es war ein Projekt von <a href="https://dataskydd.net/">Dataskydd.net</a>, einer schwedischen Nichtregierungsorganisation, die sich dafür einsetzte, Datenschutz in Recht und Praxis zu vereinfachen.

The initial development of Webbkoll was funded by <a href="https://www.internetfonden.se">Internetfonden</a> / <a href="https://www.iis.se">IIS</a> in 2016. In late 2018 we received a small grant from <a href="https://digitalrights.fund/">Digital Rights Fund</a>. Other than that, we maintain this tool in our spare time.
Die ursprüngliche Entwicklung von Webbkoll wurde von <a href="https://www.internetfonden.se">Internetfonden</a> / <a href="https://www.iis.se">IIS</a> in 2016 finanziert. Ende 2018 erhielten wir eine kleine Spende von <a href="https://digitalrights.fund/">Digital Rights Fund</a>. Abseits davon betreuen wir dieses Tool in unserer Freizeit.
