Instructions for translators

Language strings follow either the qt-format for the wide majority of strings (%1, %2, %3... for replacements) or the python-braces-format ({} for replacements). Check the tags for each string when in doubt which one to use.

Untranslatable terms for new languages

  • the name of the application, LogarithmPlotter should be left "as-is" for all languages, as it will prevent issues related to the app name for issues (like mismatches between desktop file name and name within the app).

Good afternoon @Ad5001

I didn't put it for that reason. First I hesitated to put: Bienvenido/a

But I also thought of putting: Bienvenidos

But some sites say it is not yet neutral. That's why I went to https://www.cromosomax.com/como-se-dice-bienvenido-en-lenguaje-inclusivo

But I don't know if the translation uses normal language or non-sexist or neutral language?

@gallegonovato Ah! Gotcha. I thought it had been a typo.

Good afternoon:

In this string I put the @ ; because of the neutral language or non-sexist language that you comment to use in Spanish.
