Multiplayer invites now include links to the new (beta) web version for those without Android devices. The QR code shown when starting a new multiplayer game can also show a URL to the web version.

New release: Multiplayer!

Although not network / realtime multiplayer, our play testing has shown this to be a great on-the-couch game you can play with the person next to you, or with people via SMS. There will still be many more improvements to come, but we'll bump the first version of this for F-Droid to build in 1 weeks time. After that, I'll still keep an eye on Weblate of course, so that new translations can be released in minor versions.

Question for translators...

If we release an early version of multiplayer, the UI is likely to change, which means strings are likely to change.

As a translator, would you rather: 1. Allow the strings to be translated even though there is a risk many will disappear or change after getting feedback on early versions of the UI? 2. Leave strings as untranslateable English while we release early versions and gather feedback on the UI. Once stable, allow strings to be internationalised?

If you have an opinion, please let me know here in the next few days (via https://github.com/lexica/lexica/issues/102#issuecomment-814803807), then we'll get a new version out with this feature.

Thanks, as always, for your awesome contributions. I really love how truly international this app is in no small part to your valuable translations. As I have zero experience as a translator, questions like this help me understand your workflow better so that I cause as little annoyance as possible to you.
