If you want to check the rendering by downloading the translated file, you may:

  • clone and follow these instructions to setup locally the documentation website: https://github.com/gristlabs/grist-help
  • download the translation and put it in the right folder, under /help/LANGUAGE/docs (you may check /mkdocs.yml to find the expected location of your file relative to /help/LANGUAGE/docs)

Because `$Date` is a [Date]{1} type column, `TODAY()` must be used in formulas comparing dates. [`NOW()`]{2} is a DateTime formula that should only be used with other DateTime values. For example, if the `$Date` column was a [DateTime]{3} type column, `NOW()` would need to be used rather than `TODAY()` because it includes the time component.
