<p>In vodle, you vote by giving each option a <b>wap</b>. This is a number <b>between 0 and 100</b>. You can set it with the <b>sliders</b>. You can get help with this by clicking “Assist me”.</p><p>A wap is not a rating in the usual sense! It rather specifies under which conditions you <b>approve</b> the option.</p><p>A wap of <b>zero</b> means that you <b>definitely don't approve</b> the option.</p><p>If you drag the slider all the way to the right, you give a wap of <b>100</b>. We use the generic term "option" instead of the more specific terms "alternative", "candidate", "project", "recipient", etc. because the latter are only appropriate in certain types of decisions and not in others. E.g., "alternative" is not suitable when a budget is distributed, "candidate" would suggest that the options are human beings, etc.
