Hi guys. The next release will be around July 17, consider start translating and ensure the strings are correct. You can get the pre-compiled program from AppVeyor CI 1 and use that to check if the translations are good. For the metadata names in the property dialog, you can use the image from Wikimedia 2 for testing. Let me know on GitHub 3 if you got any question while translating, and thanks for your contribution again <3

Announcement posted

Hello from the author of the Pineapple Pictures project!

Thanks for donating your time teaching this project to speak your language, I'm planning to do a release on March 18, there will be no major change before the release, and the translations already merged to the project codebase, if you have time, you can download a snapshot build and check if all translations are okay now :)

If you are using Windows, you can download the pre-build binary here: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/BLumia/pineapplepictures/builds/38207550/artifacts If you are using Ubuntu 20.04, you can download the pre-build binary here: https://github.com/BLumia/pineapple-pictures/actions/runs/649511051 (GitHub login required) If you are using Archlinux or Archlinux-based distro, you can install pineapple-pictures-git from AUR. If your OS/distro is not listed here, you need to get the code and compile it by yourself. If you need any assistant for compiling, feel free to open a discussion thread from GitHub.

After you get the package, you can check if all translations are okay by simply running the program, load any image file and play around with it. Pineapple Pictures will use your system language by default. If you found anything wrong with the translation, you can still update the translation text from Weblate. I'll pull translation from Weblate before the final release if there are any necessary update, and if you got any question, please feel free to open an Issue or discussion thread from GitHub :)

Thanks again for your time, and wish you have a nice day. Gary.
