Thanks for translating Vela Maps, a degoogled maps and navigation app for Android.

Partial work is welcome. Anything untranslated falls back to English, so a handful of strings is still useful and never breaks the app.

Rules

• Keep every placeholder. %1$s, %2$d and similar must all appear in your translation, unchanged. You can move them to fit your grammar. A missing or altered placeholder crashes the app, so those translations are rejected automatically.

• Keep it short. Most strings sit on phone-width buttons, chips and rows. When two phrasings work, pick the shorter one.

• Do not translate names or data. "Vela", "Vela Maps", "Google", "OpenStreetMap" and other product names stay as they are. Place names, street names and reviews are never translated.

• No em dashes. Use a comma, a colon, or rephrase. A dash is fine only in a numeric range.

• Match your phone's wording. For common terms (Settings, Search, Directions, Saved), use the words Android and other map apps already use in your language.

• Be consistent. Check how a term was translated elsewhere in the project before choosing a new word for it.
