Open the main menu and click on <gui>Automatic Transcription</gui>. This is only available, if you have setup and chosen a language model.

<app>Parlatype</app> can produce different timestamp formats, they can be set in the Preferences dialog.

The buttons <gui>Skip backward</gui> and <gui>Skip forward</gui> in the lower left corner skip a few seconds back or ahead. The amount of time can be changed in the Preferences dialog.

In the lower left corner there are the controls with a <gui>Play</gui> button which toggles between play and pause. Whenever you pause, <app>Parlatype</app> rewinds a few seconds to make it easier to resume. This can be changed in the Preferences dialog.

An installed model has no label next to it. Select a model and press the <gui>Activate</gui> button to use this model for speech recognition. The active configuration is indicated by a <_:media-1/> symbol.

Select a configuration by clicking on it. There is a short description of the model and where you can download it. After downloading, you have to set the folder where your download resides. You can also change the <gui>Display name</gui>.
