Instructions for translators

MapComplete is an editor and viewer for OpenStreetMap data. Users can see OpenStreetMap-features for a specific topic. Upon clicking a feature, they get more information about that feature and are challenged to fill out some questions. That extra data gets contributed back to OpenStreetMap

Translation process
  • Translations can be made directly.
  • Translation suggestions are turned off.
  • Any authenticated user can contribute.
  • The translation uses monolingual files.
  • The translation base language is editable.
