Konode syncs your bookmarks, history, open tabs and installed-extension list to storage you already own — Google Drive, WebDAV or GitHub. There is no Konode server. Thank you for translating it.

Read the string's description. Most strings carry a note explaining what the string is and why it is worded that way. It is there because the wording is often a deliberate choice — for example "Ready" is the resting state, not "finished", and sessions are not "tab groups", which is a Chrome feature Konode does not sync.

Some strings state facts about not losing data. Sentences like "it never deletes", "removes no bookmarks from any browser" or "cannot be recovered if you lose it" are promises, not marketing. Translate them literally. Do not soften them, do not make them vaguer, and never drop a negation. If you are unsure what one means, leave it and ask — an untranslated string falls back to English, which is safe. A wrong one is not.

Keep every placeholder exactly as it is: $COUNT$, $URL$, $REGION$, $MIN$, $TYPE$, $PROVIDER$, $BACKEND$, $STATUS$, $WORD$, $ERROR$. They are replaced with real values at runtime. A missing placeholder means a number or a name silently disappears from the screen, and the build check will reject it.

Do not translate: Konode, Google Drive, WebDAV, GitHub, Nextcloud, ownCloud, pCloud, Koofr, Fastmail, Synology, kDrive, Personal Access Token, OAuth, AES-256-GCM, Files (WebDAV), Chromium, Firefox, Orion.

Counts come in two keys, ending in _one and _other — English needs both ("1 tab" / "2 tabs"). If your language uses the singular after a numeral, put the same wording in both. There are no ICU plurals here.

Two things are deliberately not translatable: the activity log and the error messages the sync engine produces. They are diagnostic text people paste into bug reports, and an English one is more useful there than a translated one.
