在本教學中，\ **所有的腳本都是以 bash 語法編寫**\ 。雖然不管你使用的是哪種作業系統或殼程式，GMT 的指令都會相同，但是因為腳本中難免會出現隨著殼程式不同而變化的語法，因此如果你使用的是除了 bash 之外的其他殼 (csh、tcsh、cmd、Power Shell 等等)，本教學的腳本在執行之前，可能需要小幅的修改成符合你使用的殼的語法，尤其是像指定變數、迴圈、建立檔案、文字資料處理等等的操作。
