Instructions for translators

FOSS Warn is currently translated into DE, EN and UK. In order to continuously improve the translations, we have set up this project. You are welcome to start translating into other languages.

but only connects to warnung.bund.de at regular intervals
to warnung.bund.de and downloads the latest warnings from there. \n
For the list of localities FOSS Warn loads once at first startup
a list from xrepository.de (operated by KoSIT).

In order to load only the relevant warnings, FOSS Warn uses
uses an API where the selected location is sent as geocode.
For the operator of the API it is therefore visible, which locations
(on county level) you have stored.

For the call, FOSS Warn transmits only the technically necessary data.
FOSS Warn has no influence on the server-side processing.

Research on my part could not clearly answer whether software falls under the TMG and thus would be imprint mandatory or not. The vast majority of apps in F-Droid do NOT have an imprint - desktop apps even less. If you know and can give me a clear answer to the question, I would be happy if you contact me. \n \n
