I lost my new phone.
And because I don't use Google Services I couldn't locate it and my phone was gone for good.
In the hope that this doesn't happen again, I developed this application, so that I can locate the phone via SMS.

Features:

- Locate the device (using GPS or cellular location)
- Lock the device
- Let the device ring
- Take pictures with the device's camera to see its surroundings
- Factory-reset the device

Usage:

You can control FMD (and thus your phone) either via SMS or via FMD Server.
You send a command to the phone (e.g. "fmd ring") and the phone executes it.

For SMS you can either define a list of trusted contacts (phone numbers) that are allowed to send commands.
Or you can set a PIN to allow anonymous usage.
Then non-trusted phone numbers can also send commands by including the PIN in the message.
This is useful because now if you lose your phone, you can ask a random person for help to wipe your phone remotely.
If you simply text "fmd" to your phone FMD will reply with a text listing the available commands.

With FMD Server you get a web interface to send commands, to view the location of your device on a map,
and to view pictures taken by the device.
You can self-host FMD Server.

Izgubil sem svoj nov telefon.
In ker ne uporabljam Googlovih storitev, ga nisem mogel najti in moj telefon je bil za vedno izgubljen.
V upanju, da se to ne bo več zgodilo, sem razvil to aplikacijo, da lahko preko SMS sporočila ali FMD strežnika poiščem svoj telefon.

Glavne funkcionalnosti aplikacije:

- poiščite napravo (z uporabo GPS ali podatka o tem na katero bazno postajo je naprava povezana)
- zaklenite napravo
- naj naprava zazvoni
- posnemite slike s kamero naprave, da vidite njeno okolico
- ponastavite napravo na tovarniške nastavitve

Uporaba:

Aplikacijo FMD (in s tem svojo mobilno napravo) lahko upravljate preko SMS sporočil ali preko FMD strežnika.
Mobilni napravi pošljete ukaz (npr. "fmd ring") in aplikacija FMD ta ukaz izvede.

Za upravljanje preko SMS lahko določite seznam zaupanja vrednih stikov (telefonskih številk), ki jim je dovoljeno pošiljati ukaze.
Lahko pa nastavite PIN, s pomočjo katerega bodo FMD ukaze lahko pošiljali tudi stiki, ki niso na seznamu zaupanja vrednih.
To uporabno v primeru, ko svojo napravo izgubite, v bližini pa ni nobene osebe, katere telefonska številka je na seznamu zaupanja vrednih stikov. V tem primeru lahko za pomoč zaprosite naključno osebo in s pomočjo pravilne PIN kode npr. na daljavo izbrišete podatke na vašem telefonu.
Če na vašo napravo pošljete sporočilo "fmd", bo aplikacija FMD odgovorila s seznamom razpoložljivih ukazov.

S FMD strežnikom pa dobite možnost uporabe spletnega vmesnika za pošiljanje FMD ukazov, preko FMD strežnika si lahko ogledate lokacijo vaše naprave na zemljevidu, slike, ki jih je posnela naprava, itd.
FMD strežnik je odprtokoden in ga lahko gostite sami, na svojem lastnem strežniku.
