Instructions for translators

  • Please only contribute translations if you are fluent in both the source (English) and the target language.

  • Keep the meaning of translated strings as close to the original as possible.

  • Don't translate names such as "Discord" and "Discord Tickets".

  • Don't translate placeholder names ({example}).

    Discord Tickets can currently only have locales that are supported by Discord as application commands are localised. If there is a supported locale that is not yet available, contact @eartharoid or create an issue. If Discord does not support a locale you really want, create an issue and a solution may be implemented to allow other locales.

Translation process
  • Translations can only be done through suggestions.
  • Suggestions are automatically accepted as translations once they have 3 votes.
  • Translations are reviewed by dedicated reviewers.
  • Any authenticated user can contribute.
  • The translation uses monolingual files.
  • The translation base language is editable.
