In order to make group permissions to be applied to a particular user, that user needs to be made a member of the group using "<literal>sudo vigr</literal>" for <literal>/etc/group</literal> and "<literal>sudo vigr -s</literal>" for <literal>/etc/gshadow</literal>. You need to login after reboot (or run "<literal>kill -TERM -1</literal>") <placeholder type="footnote" id="0"/> to enable the new group configuration.
