Instructions for translators

We have documented a detailed step by step guide on how to contribute to Stooa's translation.

Check it out!

Anyway, a fast and summarized way to do it would be:

  • Go to the components list.Select the component you want to add the translation.
  • Click the edit button (pencil icon) close to the name of the language where you want to add the missing translation or translations.
  • Find and select the translation's to complete.
  • Complete the translation in the required input field.
  • Press the "Save" button.
  • Repeat the action with as many translation strings you can / you want

Stooa has an exclusive feature for that, and as the session organizer, you can see a summary of how it went and all the feedback you received. For me, it's one of the things that has helped me improve meetings the most, without a doubt.

<span>Closure:</span> When the discussion is engaging, time flies, but it's essential to allocate a few minutes at the end for a good conclusion. Depending on the meeting's objectives, you might need to discuss next steps or document the decisions made during the session. What should never be missing is a recap of the most important highlights so that everyone takes away the best from the discussion.

<span>The importance of moderation:</span> This is where I come in. Although the Fishbowl dynamics allow for conversations without the presence of a moderator, in my experience, we often veer off-topic when there's no one guiding the discussion. Personally, I prepare questions about the topic and release them when I see that we're repeating the same ideas or straying too far. For effective moderation, it's crucial to have a clear session objective and give voice to all attendees.
